Tiger 3: FIR registered against Salman Khan fans for bursting crackers inside theatre; 2 detained

Tiger 3: Salman Khan fans were found bursting firecrackers inside a theatre in Malegaon on Sunday. FIR against them has been filed and 2 have been detained

It was anticipated that Salman Khan's Tiger 3 would cause fireworks at the box office. However, when actual firecrackers were being lit inside a theatre in Malegaon, Maharashtra, the audience ran for protection. A clip went viral in which a bunch of Salman fans were bursting firecrackers during a houseful show which caused chaos inside the hall. 

The unpleasant incident took place at Mohan Cinema in Malegaon where crazy fans of Salman showed enthusiasm for Tiger 3 by bursting crackers. The incident that could have turned fatal caught the attention of cops. 

The police started an immediate investigation into the matter. According to India Today, a case has been registered against the cinema hall for permitting such life-threatening activities under Section 112 in Chavani police station. Apart from this, two people were also taken into custody.

In the viral video, the firecrackers show went on for over a minute. A bunch of fans lit rockets during Salman's entry in front of a live audience. People seated inside the theatre were seen running to safer spaces and protecting themselves from the fire showers. 

Salman reacted to the video and shared a note on his Instagram stories. The superstar requested fans to not endanger people's lives by doing such activities. He wrote, "I'm hearing about fireworks inside theaters during Tiger 3. This is dangerous. Let's enjoy the film without putting ourselves and others at risk. Stay safe."

On Day 1, Tiger 3 took a thunderous opening. In India, the Hindi version of the spy thriller earned Rs. 43.00 crores whereas the Tamil and Telugu dub collectively garnered Rs. 1.50 crores. The day 1 total of Tiger 3 is Rs. 44.50 crores. 

Tiger 3 also stars Katrina Kaif, Emraan Hashmi, Revathy, Simran and Ridhi Dogra. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the film revolves around Tiger (Salman) and Zoya (Katrina) who started their journey back in 2012. They are married and have a son named Junior (Sartaaj). After tackling obstacles in the past, Tiger and Zoya have to reunite to protect the country against Aatish Rehman's (Emraan) sinister mission. This time, the threat comes home as the battle gets 'personal'.
