A day after Shefali Jariwala`s demise, actor Varun Dhawan slammed the media coverage of her death. Calling it insensitive, he demanded the need for such coverage

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan took to his Instagram stories on Sunday to call out the `insensitive coverage` of Shefali Jariwala`s demise. The actress passed away on June 27  following a heart attack. She was 42. Her last rites were carried out by near and dear ones on Saturday. The funeral witnessed several media personnel who captured the people arriving for the last rites. 

Varun Dhawan slams media coverage of Shefali Jariwala death

Varun Dhawan took to his Instagram stories and wrote, "Again one more passing of a soul being insensitively covered by the media. I just don`t understand why do u have to cover someone`s grief. Everyone looks so uncomfortable with this. How is this benefitting anyone. My request to my friends in the media this isn`t the way someone would want their final journey covered".
