Veteran actress Kamini Kaushal, widely recognised as India`s oldest living actress, died at the age of 98. According to reports, she has been suffering from health concerns related to her age.

According to a close family source. "Kamini Kaushal`s family is extremely low profile and needs privacy." Kamini was one of the most recognisable characters in Indian film. She apparently appeared in almost 90 films during her illustrious career. She began her career with Neecha Nagar, which won the coveted Palme d`Or (Golden Palm) at the Cannes Film Festival in 1946.
