20 years of Parineeta: Vidya Balan and Shreya Ghoshal sing Piyu Bole, watch

It has been 20 years since Parineeta was released in theatres. To mark the occasion, the film has been re-released in cinema halls. On Monday, the team of Parineeta assembled to watch the film on the big screen and celebrate it. Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra, actors Vidya Balan, Rekha, Dia Mirza and singer Shreya Ghoshal were in attendance for the special screening.

In a video from the celebrations, Vidya Balan and Shreya Ghosal were seen singing Piyu Bole along with Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Vidhu had his arms around Vidya and Shreya`s shoulders and they swayed together as they sang the beautiful song. For the celebratory night, Vidya was dressed in a gorgeous red saree while Shreya wore a black saree. Dia Mirza also looked stunning in a black saree, while Rekha brought her charm to the celebration.
This special re-release also commemorates 20 years of Vidya Balan’s remarkable journey in Indian cinema and 50 glorious years of Vinod Chopra Films, the studio behind some of the most definitive films in Indian cinema.
