Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the esteemed banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/bollywood-news/article/vishals-romeo-packs-up-with-a-punch-23600217#google_vignette" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">O Romeo</a> is set to release on 13th February 2026, targeting the Valentine's Day release.
The film is being produced on a massive scale, with Bharadwaj recreating Spain in Mumbai for the shoot.

Shahid and Vishal&rsquo;s collaborations are marked by their shared commitment to complex characters and themes of moral ambiguity, grief, and psychological struggle. Their 4th project together, after Kaminey, Haider, and Rangoon,&nbsp;O Romeo has set strong expectations for a narrative driven by depth, craft, and performance.
Further strengthening the film&rsquo;s eclectic cast with the inclusion of stalwarts Tamannah Bhatia and Vikrant Massey, whose presence adds both freshness, gravitas and grandeur to the project. As per media reports, O Romeo will also feature a formidable ensemble cast comprising the legendary Nana Patekar, <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/bollywood-news/article/triptii-dimri-i-focus-on-box-office-as-little-as-i-can-shahid-kapoor-23450329" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Triptii Dimri</a>, Avinash Tiwary, Tamannaah Bhatia, Disha Patani, along with several other notable names, making it a truly ensemble-led project.
<h2>About the high-octane climax</h2>
In October, the movie wrapped up with a grand and high-voltage climax sequence featuring Kapoor and <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/bollywood-news/article/avinash-tiwary-laila-majnu-delayed-success-23375283" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Avinash Tiwary</a>. The film, which went on floors in January, completed its final leg of shooting last week at Bahubali Studios in Borivali.&nbsp;
Sources close to the production revealed that the intense face-off, a duel between the two actors,&nbsp; was filmed over two days. &ldquo;They wrapped the close-up shots [of the] duel. The primary shots were done in Spain. <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/bollywood-news/article/filmmaker-vishal-bhardwaj-reflects-on-missed-collaborations-with-shah-rukh-khan-23587951" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Vishal&nbsp;</a>sir wanted the finale to feel explosive, so the team recreated a realistic environment inside the studio, giving him total control over lighting and stunts.&rdquo;
The stunt-heavy climax involved practical combat choreography, wirework, and controlled explosions. Tiwary, who plays the antagonist, reportedly underwent rigorous physical preparation for the fight sequence. A member of the stunt team shared, &ldquo;Both actors rehearsed it for a few days to get the rhythm right.&rdquo; Apparently, Bhardwaj wanted to shoot this final piece discreetly in Mumbai. &ldquo;Only the core crew and action unit were on set,&rdquo; said the informer.
