Vishal Bhardwaj's latest release O'Romeo is currently in theatres and has crossed Rs 50 crore at the box office with largely positive reviews. He is known for crafting love stories through his uniquely poetic, intense, and often dark storytelling in both films and songs. Over the years, he has collaborated with actors like Shahid Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Tabu, and the late Irrfan Khan. Yet, he has never worked with Bollywood superstar and 'King of Romance' Shah Rukh Khan. It is a collaboration and a world fans of the filmmaker have been eager to watch. Now, the filmmaker has spoken about why their collaboration has not happened yet.

After the release of O'Romeo in an interview with ANI, Vishal Bhardwaj shared that he had shared a script with Shah Rukh Khan during the making of his film O Romeo, expressing his hope that the two might collaborate on a project in the future.
