Bollywood actress Zareen Khan has spoken out against the current paparazzi culture. She particularly slammed photographers who often click female celebrities from inappropriate angles and zoom in on their body parts. The actress questioned the ethics of such practices, saying there is no need, and even the audience is not enjoying it. She also called for a shift in how female public figures are portrayed in the media.
During a recent interview with Hindi Rush, Zareen said, "I cannot really understand today`s paparazzi culture. I`m not saying all of them do it, but there are many paps who zoom in on areas where there`s absolutely no need to." She further highlighted how celebrities should be identified by their work and faces instead of objectified visuals. Zareen added, "A celebrity is known by their face, right? So, how can you show some random body part and ask `Guess who?` And that too a weird body part. I don`t understand what they`re trying to do."
