`Kantara` star Rishab Shetty was felicitated with the National Film Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. The movie also won award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.

Rishab Shetty was joined by his wife Pragathi Shetty for the award ceremony. 

Actor Nithya Menen received the National Film Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in the 2022 film `Thiruchitrambalam.`

Filmmaker Mani Ratnam was honoured with the National Award for Best Tamil Film for his 2022 film `Ponniyin Selvan: I.` Ponniyin Selvan is an adaptation of a much-loved Tamil historical novel, and the film has received widespread praise for its direction, storytelling, and visual grandeur.

Music maestro AR Rahman bagged his seventh National Film Award as he received the Best Music Director (Background music) award for his work in Mani Ratnam`s `Ponniyin Selvan: I`.

Veteran actor Neena Gupta received the award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the 70th National Film Awards for the film Uunchai.

Manoj Bajpayee bagged his fourth National Film Award as he received a Special Mention for his performance in the film Gulmohar.

He was accompanied by his wife and former actress Shabana Raza for the award ceremony.

Filmmaker-music composer Vishal Bhardwaj received the Best Music Direction honour for his short film `Fursat` at the 70th National Film Awards.

Sooraj Barjatya was honoured with the Best Director award at the 70th National Film Awards for his film `Uunchai`. The film marked the directorial comeback of Sooraj Barjatya after his 2015 family drama `Prem Ratan Dhan Payo`.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer `Brahmastra Part One: Shiva` won big at the 70th National Awards 2024. The producer of the film Karan Johar was felicitated with director Ayan Mukerji.

They won the National Film Award for Best Film in AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects Gaming and Comic).

Pritam received the award for Best Music Director (Songs) for `Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva`. Arijit Singh won Best Male Playback Singer for the track `Kesariya`.

Manasi Parekh bagged her first National Film Award for her performance in `Kutch Express`. Tears in Manasi`s eyes were clearly visible. She shared her Best Actress award with Nithya Menon, who got it for the Tamil film `Thiruchitrambalam`.

Sreepath won the Best Child Artist award for his role in the Malayalam movie `Malikappuram`.
