Sanya Malhotra, who is well-known for movies like `Dangal`, `Badhai Ho`, and `Pagglait` to name a few, is all set to surprise her fans and viewers with her never-seen-before character of a cop in Netflix`s upcoming satirical comedy, `Kathal`. Directed by Yashowardhan Mishra, the story of `Kathal: A Jackfruit Mystery`, revolves around Sanya Malhotra, a sincere and determined police officer who is on a mission to find missing jackfruit. The trailer launch of `Kathal` took place in Mumbai on Thursday evening in the presence of various eminent personalities from the showbiz industry, including Oscar-winning producer Guneet Monga and TV Czarina Ektaa Kapoor. However, the real highlight of the evening was the giant green jackfruit that stole the limelight!

<p>Popular TV actor Anant V Jain and Bollywood`s comedy king, Rajpal Yadav who will be seen sharing screen space with Sanya Malhotra in `Kathal` were also present at the trailer launch. Director Yashowardhan Mishra and the writer of `Kathal` Ashok Mishra too marked their presence at the event. The entire team were all smiles as they posed with a giant-sized jackfruit. </p>
