Peter Haag is an Austrian-born hotelier who has spent a major portion of his life moving across countries for a thriving career in hospitality.

According to NDTV, he has built a career in branding, marketing, and hospitality management and has held senior positions with luxury hotel chains in Dubai and Singapore.

Gradually, he built a name for himself in the industry. Haag`s journey eventually took him to Dubai, where he joined Emaar Hospitality Group and continued growing as an entrepreneur and brand strategist.

Some reports say he has a net worth of around USD 2.3 million, which roughly translates to Rs 167 crore. However, this figure cannot be independently confirmed.

The hotelier maintains a low social profile. However, he has been in news after his wife, actress Celina Jaitly filed Domestic Violence case against him.

Celina and Peter met in Dubai while the Bollywood actress was there for work. The two instantly became good friends.

After their meeting in Dubai, Peter came to Mumbai in 2010 and proposed to her at her residence in the presence of her family. The two tied the knot in a monastery in Austria in 2011.

Celina once revealed, that just to surprise her, Peter Haag travelled to Mumbai for 8 hours just to spend quality time with his ladylove.

Celina and Peter embraced parenthood for the first time in 2012. They welcomed their first set of twin baby boys, Viraaj and Winston.

In 2017, Celina gave birth to another set of twins, Shamsher and Arthur; tragically, Shamsher passed away shortly after birth due to a congenital heart condition.

Celina came into the limelight after she won the Femina Miss India title in 2001. She made her acting debut in 2003 opposite Fardeen Khan in Janasheen.
