Brazilian influencer Luana Andrade died a day after the procedure on her knee was performed by a private doctor and anaesthetist hired by her family in Sao Paulo, Brazil. As per metro.co.uk. plastic surgeon and president of the Brazilian College of Plastic Surgery Dr Diovane Ruaro told local media that Andrade had appeared to be in good health before the surgery.

The model and fashion designer’s cause of death has been listed as a pulmonary embolism after complications during the surgery. Sao Luiz Hospital said: “The surgery was interrupted and the patient underwent tests that revealed massive thrombosis. She was transferred to the ICU where she underwent medication and hemodynamic treatment.”
