Without naming anyone directly, RM spoke openly about how the dynamics within BTS have evolved over the years, stressing that as the members move into their 30s, they have grown into individuals with their own lives, boundaries and personal identities.

RM got candid about the band and what has changed

RM acknowledged that things are no longer the same as they were in the group’s earlier years. He shared that, unlike around 2017–18, he can no longer speak on behalf of the entire group. Explaining that each member now lives differently, with distinct personalities and lifestyles, RM made it clear that he cannot manage or comment on other members’ private matters. This was widely seen as him firmly setting boundaries, both for himself and for the group.
