BTS breaks a major K-pop record in Japan with 'The truth untold'

BTS have earned another major milestone in Japan as The Truth Untold surpassed 50 million streams, receiving RIAJ Gold certification and bringing their total to a record 47 Gold-certified songs

BTS, who are preparing for their full-group reunion, achieved yet another K-pop milestone in Japan with their 2018 hit The Truth Untold (feat. Steve Aoki).
According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) on Thursday, the single from the group`s third full-length album LOVE YOURSELF `TEAR` had topped 50 million total streams as of October, receiving Gold certification in the streaming category. With this recent achievement, BTS now has 47 Gold-certified hits, extending their reign as Japan`s most successful K-pop artists.
