The horrifying trespassing instances involving BTS member Jungkook have taken a new turn. South Korean officials have dropped charges against a Chinese woman accused of attempting to break into Jungkook`s home earlier this year, but a Korean lady involved in a separate incident will face trespassing and stalking charges. The different outcomes have sparked debates in South Korea regarding celebrity privacy and obsessive fanboy culture.
According to the Korea Times, the Seoul Western District Prosecutors` Office said on October 22 that it has suspended the indictment of a Chinese woman in her thirties. She was previously charged with attempted home invasion for reportedly visiting Jungkook`s home on June 11, the day the singer was released from military service. The woman reportedly repeatedly touched the keypad door lock at the entrance, presumably in an attempt to enter.
