BTS has returned to the K-pop scene after each of its seven members completed their military service. Following their comeback in June, the vocalists travelled to Los Angeles for a few months to reunite and write their new album. The septet is said to have been working with award-winning songwriters and producers, and they hope to release a comeback album in the spring of 2026. According to reports, the trio will embark on a world tour from May to December of this year following the release of their new album.

BTS to go on a world tour

According to Finance News, Kim Hyun Young, a researcher at Hyundai Motor Securities, stated on September 30 that the 2026 BTS world tour will last eight months, from May to December next year, with 65 performances planned and an audience of 4 million people expected to attend. Aside from that, the average number of spectators per show is predicted to exceed 60,000; in the meantime, the group`s operating profit is expected to reach 100 billion KRW in the second quarter of next year, following the tour`s launch.
