Actor Chiranjeevi has been feted with Padma Vibhushan, the second-highest civilian honour in the country. The Padma Awards 2024 were announced on Thurday, January 25, a day before Republic Day. Chiranjeevi who has been a part of the industry for 45 years released a video reacting to the honour. Thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the actor said that he has done so “little” and yet, he has been given “such recognition”.
Chiranjeevi took to Instagram, where he shared a video thanking everyone after he was honoured with the Padma Vibhushan. In the clip, Chiranjeevi said, “After hearing this news, I became speechless.”
