Actor Vijay Deverakonda is all set to collaborate with ace producer Dil Raju for his next film which is to be directed by 'Raja Varu Rank Garu' fame Ravi Kiran Kola. This is the 59th film produced by SVC Production.

The film was launched on the occasion of Vijay’s birthday today. The poster has an action-packed vibe as Vijay is seen holding a machete. The mass dialogue imprinted on the poster adds to the intensity.  The makers have announced that the rural drama is being made on a huge scale and it will have pan-Indian appeal.

Sharing the poster, Vijay wrote, “The blood on my hands is not of their death.. but of my own rebirth..“ Ravi Kiran Kola X Vijay Deverakonda".

This happens to be the first time Vijay is playing a full-blown rural character on such a vast scale and it should be exciting to watch him set the screen on fire.

Ravi Kola has already proven himself as a sensible filmmaker with 'Raja Varu Rani Garu' and he is said to have worked tirelessly on the scripting of this project and sculpted it on a massive scale. Dil Raju has also taken up this project very prestigiously and he’s set to mount it on a massive scale. Vijay is likely to undergo a minor makeover for the film and he’s confident that it would be one of the hallmark films of his career.  The details of the cast and crew will be out in the due course.

Vijay's rise to stardom:

In 2011, he made his debut in a supporting role in the Telugu rom-com film 'Nuvvila'. Although the film didn't do well at the box office, Vijay's performance was appreciated by critics and audiences alike.

After a few more supporting roles, Vijay got his big break in 2015 with the film 'Yevade Subramanyam'. The film was a critical and commercial success, and Vijay's performance as a free-spirited young man was widely praised. However, it was his next film, 'Pellichoopulu', that catapulted him to stardom.

'Pelli Choopulu' was a low-budget film that was made on a shoestring budget of just 1.5 crores. However, the film became a blockbuster and grossed over 30 crores at the box office. Vijay's performance as a brash and confident chef won him numerous accolades and awards, including the Filmfare Award for Best Actor - Telugu.

Vijay's next film, 'Arjun Reddy', was another game-changer. The 2017 film was a bold and unconventional love story that dealt with themes like drug abuse, toxic masculinity, and heartbreak. Vijay's performance as the titular character won him widespread acclaim and established him as a bankable star. The film was remade in Hindi as 'Kabir Singh' and went on to become a massive hit.

Since then, Vijay has acted in a string of films like 'Geetha Govindam' (2018), 'Taxiwaala' (2018), 'Dear Comrade'(2019), and 'World Famous Lover'(2020).
