The Telugu film 'Baby', a small scale project, has been making noise at the box office. The film starring Anand Deverakonda, Vaishnavi Chaitanya, and Viraj Ashwin in lead roles, and has been directed by Sai Rajesh. With a positive word of mouth, the film is drawing a massive crowd to the theatres, despite the heavy rain in several parts of the country.

The film has been receiving overwhelming response even during the weekdays. In a major feat, the film has crossed the lifetime collections of the Telugu superhit Arjun Reddy. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial starred Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in the lead. In just 11 days, the film collected close to Rs 70 crore gross . Considering that most films have been struggling at the box office post pandemic, the performance by 'Baby' is exceptional and is a testament to 'content is king'.
In terms of ROI, 'Baby' is the biggest hit in the history of Telugu cinema. This is phenomenal and unprecedented. The film is setting a solid benchmark, and even with the new releases, it remains the obvious choice for the audience. Moreover, the film has already become the highest-grossing film in the careers of both Anand Deverakonda and Sai Rajesh.

Vijaya Deverakonda had attended a special screening of the film before the release and immensely praised the team behind the film. Rashmika Mandanna who had also attended the screening was seen walking out with tears in her eyes. Several members from Telugu film industry have been praising the film. Actor Allu Arjun who loved the film also attended the appreciation meet for the film and spoke of=r over 30 minutes.
