On behalf of the production company, KVN Productions, the makers of actor Vijay's highly anticipated farewell movie, Jana Nayagan, have filed an urgent case with the Madras High Court. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has not yet issued a censor certificate, despite the movie's January 9 release date. The petition requests action to speed up this process.
The urgent appeal will be heard by the Madras High Court at 2:15 pm, since the film's producers want prompt justice.
