On the sacred and culturally significant day of the Varamahalakshmi festival, Hombale Films has unveiled the much-awaited first look of actress Rukmini Vasanth as Kanakavathi, the lead character in the upcoming cinematic epic Kantara Chapter 1.

Written and directed by Rishab Shetty, who also plays the lead role, the film serves as a prequel to the  2022 blockbuster Kantara, a pathbreaking film that redefined rooted storytelling and earned acclaim across audiences and critics worldwide.
