Malayalam star is currently basking in the success of his recent release L2: Empuraan, which is enjoying a stellar run at the box office. Despite stirring controversy, the film, also starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, managed to emerge as one of the highest-grossing Malayalam films of 2025. Additionally, his most recent release, Thudarum, helmed by Tharun Moorthy, has also received both critical acclaim and commercial success, crossing the Rs 100 crore mark globally. He was also seen playing a cameo in Vishnu Manchu's recent mythological drama Kannappa. 

Mohanlal announces new film

And now, Mohanlal has announced a brand new film, tentatively titled 'L365'. The film will be helmed by debutant director Austin Dan Thomas, while being written by Ratheesh Ravi. It is being produced by Ashiq Usman under Ashiq Usman Productions.
