Odia singer Humane Sagar, 34, was admitted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar on November 14th. He had bilateral pneumonia, acute or chronic liver failure (ACLF), dilated cardiomyopathy with severe LV systolic dysfunction, MODS-refractory shock, severe respiratory failure, anuric acute kidney injury, encephalopathy, hepatopathy, thrombocytopenia, and coagulopathy. Despite rigorous and advanced care from a skilled team of specialist doctors, his treatment was ineffective, and he died on November 17, 2025, at 9:08 p.m.

According to the treating doctor at AIIMS Bhubaneswar, Dr. Shrikant Behera is an intensive care unit (ECMO) specialist.
