Sivakarthikeyan’s latest film Parasakthi was released in theatres on January 10. Directed by Sudha Kongara, the film faced its share of issues with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) ahead of release. Parasakthi was originally set to clash at the box office with Vijay’s Jana Nayagan, but the latter did not release due to certification delays. Now, Parasakthi creative director Dev Ramnath has slammed a section of Vijay’s fans for allegedly spreading negativity about the film.
On Monday, Dev Ramnath took to his X handle and criticised certain netizens for attempting to sabotage Parasakthi. He claimed that negative reviews were being circulated, outdated videos were being used to influence audience opinion, and there were deliberate attempts to lower the film’s ratings on ticketing platforms. He also shared screenshots to support his claims.
