Rana Daggubati, an actor and producer, is busy promoting his new film Kaantha. In addition, he was reminded of the re-release of Baahubali: The Epic, one of his most memorable films. The actor spoke with Galatta Plus about his experience seeing the film and how it was appreciated by the crowd, virtually setting a precedent for Indian cinema.
When asked if he had been able to see the 3-hour 40-minute edit of the film, Rana responded yes and revealed what it is like to watch the film a decade after its debut. He said, “It is fun because that was the first story that was told to us. It was supposed to be one film at some point. It was just a long one film… it was just so amazing to revisit that, and that we got to see it a decade later and it still has aged beautifully, on the big screen.”
