Actor Ravi Mohan, popularly known as Jayam Ravi, has been in the headlines since he announced his separation from his wife Aarti in September last year. At the time, Aarti revealed that the announcement was made without her knowledge and that she was blindsided by the development. Since their separation, the two have been making public statements and accusations against each other.
At the Chennai Family Court, Ravi Mohan reiterated his intention to proceed with the divorce. Aarti, meanwhile, demanded ₹40 lakh as monthly alimony. During the hearing, Ravi urged the court to reject Aarti's plea for cohabitation.
