Cricketer MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Dhoni have ventured into film production under their banner, Dhoni Entertainment. The couple recently attended a promotional event in Hyderabad where Sakshi expressed her fondness for Allu Arjun films. She revealed that she watched all films of the actor dubbed in Hindi.


At the press meet, Sakshi was asked by a reporter if she has ever watched a Telugu film. Responding to the question, she said, "You know I've seen all Allu Arjun movies. All of it. But, I don't think that there was Netflix or Hotstar. It was all on YouTube, on Goldmine Productions. They used to put all the Telugu movies in Hindi. So growing up, I watched all Allu Arjun movies, and I'm a huge huge fan." Allu Arjun has been a part of the film industry for over 2 decades. The actor will next be seen in 'Pushpa 2: The Rise'. He also announced his next with 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' director Trivikram.


MS Dhoni and Sakshi will produce the romantic film 'Let's get married aka LGM as their maiden production venture. Helmed by Ramesh Thamilmani, the movie stars veteran actress Nadiya along with Yogi Babu and Mirchi Vijay. The movie will hit theatres in 2024.


The duo recently graced an event in Chennai for the launch of the trailer and audio of the film. t. In the speech, Dhoni is shown to be speaking about his connection with the Tamil people. “My first test debut is in Chennai. My highest test score is in Chennai and now my first movie is in Tamil. Chennai is more special to me. I was adopted here in 2008 when #IPL started. We produced our first movie in Tamil cos of our mutual love for the state.” Speaking about the movie, the cricketer described it as a “clean movie” about a man who struggles to handle disagreements between his mother and his wife.

Dhoni also went on to praise the performance of the cast. “I really enjoyed the movie. #Nadhiya spoke with her eyes, @iamharishkalyan spoke a lot here at the audio launch but he has less lines in the film. Both the ladies don't let him talk!”
