In November, mid-day reported that filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga would shoot the first schedule of Spirit till December-end before pausing for a New Year’s break (Full speed ahead, Nov 30). But Vanga appears to have changed his mind. With the director keen to release the cop actioner mid-2027 instead of December 2027, we have heard that filming of the Prabhas, Triptii Dimri, and Vivek Oberoi-starrer will continue through the New Year’s week.

A source told mid-day, “Spirit kicked off on November 27 in Hyderabad, and the team will shoot till the first week of January before taking a break. The New Year’s break has been called off.”
