A user on X (formerly Twitter) remarked that she could not 'save' herself when she was molested. The singer slammed the troll, asking them to vanish into thin air.

It started after the user commented on her husband, Rahul Ravindran's mangalsutra remark, saying that it is his wife's choice whether to wear it or not, since it's no fair that men have no visible sign of being married. Replying to it, Chinmayi noted, "He literally said it in some context on an interview, which has become a tweet. The rage from the men calling him all sorts of abuses - I am worried for the women here, truth be told."
