Thalapathy Vijay
Thalapathy Vijay has been in the news for several reasons over the past few months. His last film, Jana Nayagan’s release, faced a major roadblock due to a CBFC issue, and he was also interrogated in the Karur stampede case. Amid this, he remained unfazed and took part in a massive party event in Mamallapuram (Mahabalipuram), where he addressed the TVK cadre.
TVK chief Vijay on Sunday characterised the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections as a high-stakes “democratic battle” rather than a mere electoral contest, asserting his party`s unique position to challenge established political powers. He stated, “We do not bow down to any pressure. Does this face look like it would succumb to pressure?”
