Malayalam actor, Unni Mukundan, who is set to play PM Modi in the recently announced biopic, has made headlines after a Kerala court summoned him in an assault case filed by his former manager

Popular Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan has reportedly been summoned by the Kakkanad Magistrate Court in connection with an assault case registered against him. According to the summons, the actor has been asked to appear before the court on October 27. Interestingly, the news comes on the day of his birthday as the actor turns 38 on September 22, 2025.
The case was registered against Mukundan by his former manager, Vipin Kumar, who alleged that the actor physically assaulted him after he praised the Tovino Thomas film Nariveera in a social media post. According to the complaint, the post provoked Mukundan, which led to an altercation. During the tiff, the actor allegedly assaulted and verbally abused his former manager.
