During a recent promotional event, Vijay Deverakonda was asked about superstars like Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi giving multiple flop films. The actor defended the superstars and showered love on them and their stardom.

Responding to the question by a media person, Vijay Devarakonda said that superstars like Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi are beyond hits and flops. "Rajinikanth sir gave 5-6 back to back flops. But he came back again with a blockbuster like Jailer. Then we should shut up and watch,' said Vijay. Jailer has become a massive hit and has collected Rs 500 crore globally so far.

Talking about Chiranjeevi, he said, “Chiranjeevi may have 6-7 flops back-to-back. But if the right director gets his energy, he will come back with a sensation like he did this Sankranti. Chiru sir changed the industry. When he came, the action, dance and performance there changed completely. He inspired many people to enter the industry.”

The 'Arjun Reddy' star also said that actors should not be judged on the basis of hits and flops. He said that they have inspired many to join the film industry and added that he feels it is disrespectful to make comments on senior actors.

Meanwhile, the makers of 'Kushi' are leaving no stone unturned to promote the musical extravaganza and for the same, the lead cast is also visiting different places to promote the film. Continuing the promotion spree, the heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda recently visited the GRD College in Coimbatore leaving the crowd absolutely mad.

Vijay Deverakonda was welcomed with the loudest roars and cheers at the GRD College where he interacted with the fans, and college students, and followed by this he attended a press meet in Chennai in the evening.

With massive anticipation around the film, 'Kushi' is undoubtedly one of the most awaited Pan India romantic dramas to come out this year. Recently, the makers organized a grand musical event on Independence Day night, which was a grand success.
