Days after tying the knot in Udaipur, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda were seen arriving at the latter's hometown, Thummanpet in Mahbubnagar, Telangana. The newlyweds were greeted with a grand yet traditional welcome at his village. Videos from their visit have gone viral on social media where elders in the village were seen performing rituals before welcoming the couple to their newly built home.

In the videos, Vijay was seen wearing a pastel green kurta, while Rashmika Mandanna donned a beautiful dark blue traditional silk saree with copper zari work. Villagers gathered outside their new home to catch a glimpse of them and wish them on their new beginning.
