Still from Toxic teaser
Kannada actor Yash will soon be seen in the film Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film has been co-written by Yash and Mohandas. The teaser, which was released earlier this month on Yash’s 40th birthday, has become the talk of the town. However, a section of the audience slammed the teaser for its intimate visuals between Yash’s character Ray and a woman. This has also led to formal complaints being filed against the makers for alleged obscenity. Amid this controversy, an old interview of Yash has gone viral.
Amid the controversy surrounding the bold scenes in the Toxic teaser, a video of Yash speaking on the show Weekend with Ramesh has resurfaced. In a conversation with host Ramesh Aravind on the Kannada talk show, Yash had said, “I won’t do any movie scenes that I wouldn’t feel comfortable watching with my parents.”
