Riddhi Kumar is a model-turned actor who first rose to fame after winning the Face of India pageant.

She was born in Kopargaon, near Shirdi, Maharashtra, into an Army family; her father is an officer in the Indian Army. 

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Fergusson College in Pune. Before stepping into films, she built a career in modelling, participating in fashion shows and regional beauty contests.

Riddhi made her acting debut in 2018 with the Telugu film Lover, starring Raj Tarun. She followed this up with roles in Anaganaga O Premakatha and later expanded her career across industries.

Outside of acting, she enjoys photography, literature, and travel, and is known to maintain a low public profile.

Her Hindi filmography includes the series Candy, alongside Ronit Roy and Richa Chadha. In 2022, she appeared in the Hindi series Human alongside Shefali Shah and Kirti Kulhari.

For the unversed, Riddhi and Prabhas worked together in the 2022 romantic drama Radhe Shyam before The Raja Saab. The film also starred Pooja Hegde.

At the pre-release event of The Raja Saab, the actress grabbed attention after she revealed that she was wearing a saree Prabhas had gifted her.

Heaping praise on the Rebel Star, she stated, “First and foremost, thank you so much, Prabhas. I am here because of you; you took me in the film.”

She continued, “I am wearing the saree that you gave me, and I saved it for three years just to wear it tonight. I’m so grateful to have you in my life.”

Her speech also led to speculation that they might be dating. Some netizens in the comment section praised Prabhas’ gesture, while others were curious to know about his relationship status.
