Bigg Boss: Bhopal-based dermatologist scammed for entering the show; files FIR

A Bhopal-based dermatologist has filed an FIR after being duped under the pretext of giving him entry in the Bigg Boss house. He accused a man named Karan Singh of taking money from him in 2022

A Bhopal-based dermatologist named Dr. Abhineet Gupta has filed an FIR claiming he was conned out of Rs 10 lakh on the pretext of getting entry in the popular television reality show Bigg Boss. The dermatologist revealed that he has filed an FIR at the Oshiwara Police Station in Mumbai. Previously, he had also filed an FIR in Bhopal.

Bhopal dermatologist scammed

During a recent press conference held in Mumbai, the doctor claimed that back in 2022, a man named Karan Singh urged him to try for Bigg Boss. SIngh claimed to have good relations with the makers. Abhineet said, "He talked about giving one crore rupees, but I said that I do not have that much money. Then he went to Mumbai, and he made me talk to his colleagues on the phone. He talked about giving 60 lakh rupees and told me to pay in cash. He called me to Mumbai and arranged a meeting with Harish Shah, Senior Vice President of Endemol Company."

He further revealed that Karan asked him for money, and he transferred Rs 10 lakh to the accused. However, when the list of contestants for Bigg Boss season 16 was announced, Abhineet`s name was not in it. When questioned, Karan said that Abhineet would enter mid-show as a wild card. But when the season ended, Karan changed his statement, claiming that he would make him participate in the next season. The next season too, nothing happened.
