Punjabi actress and singer Himanshi Khurana has reportedly received a death threat accompanied by an extortion demand of Rs 10 crore, leading to swift police action in Mohali. The 32-year-old performer, known for her work in Punjabi films and music videos and her stint on Bigg Boss 13, approached the police after receiving a threatening phone call.

According to reports, the caller allegedly warned her of serious consequences if the ransom amount was not paid. Disturbed by the threat, Himanshi filed a complaint, following which the police registered a First Information Report (FIR) and launched an investigation. Authorities have stated that they are treating the matter with utmost seriousness and are working to trace the origin of the call.
