Tanya Mittal and Neelam Giri were slammed on Bigg Boss 19 after a live feed caught them body-shaming fellow contestant Ashnoor Kaur. Tanya commented that despite her continuous gym practice, Ashnoor had still gained weight. Neelam also expressed concern about Ashnoor's weight gain, saying that her daily workouts appeared ineffectual.

The argument heated up when they criticised Ashnoor's clothing from the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, claiming it didn't suit her body type. Tanya even suggested that if she or Neelam had worn the outfit, it would have looked better.
