We’re halfway through the year, and that means it’s time for the buzz around the reality show Bigg Boss to begin. And rightly so—the chatter around the 19th edition of the popular game show has already gained momentum. While Salman Khan will be returning as host, he won’t be the only one taking the contestants to task in the upcoming season.
According to the latest reports by The Indian Express, Bigg Boss 19 is expected to begin streaming in August 2025. The makers are keen to position this season as a digital-first property, meaning the episodes will premiere on both television and OTT platforms. However, digital will take priority—episodes will first stream on JioCinema approximately 1.5 hours before airing on TV. The show will go on for five months.
As per tradition, Salman Khan will kick off the season as host. However, he won’t be the only one. The report mentions that while the show is expected to run for five months, Salman’s contract will cover the first three months.
