Actor and entrepreneur Parul Gulati marked her debut at the prestigious 78th Cannes Film Festival red carpet. She attended the world premiere of Eddington, the new feature by acclaimed filmmaker Ari Aster. It stars Hollywood heavyweights Joaquin Phoenix, Pedro Pascal, and Emma Stone. In an exclusive interaction with Mid-day, Parul opened up about her experience at the French Riviera.

Parul recalls that growing up, she prayed hard to get to Cannes after watching Anurag Kashyap take Gangs of Wasseypur at the film festival. She also idolised “Indian Barbie” Aishwarya Rai, a Cannes constant.
