However, CID's renowned face, Shivaji Satam aka ACP Pradyuman, has now publicly stated that the makers are ending CID 2, which returned to television screens after a six-year hiatus.

Shivaji Satam confirms the show is going off-air

According to GossipsTv, actor Shivaji Satam has revealed that CID 2 is going off broadcast. Despite the poor ratings, Shivaji stated that the current season's rhythm remained "unchanged" among the show's devoted viewers. He also discussed how the show's transition from TV screens to Netflix affected the numbers. When discussing the shifting scene, he stated, "The landscape has transformed, and now even a rating of 2 is considered a success."
