Parth Samthaan replaced ACP Pradyumann in CID
Parth Samthaan is in the spotlight after replacing ACP Pradyuman (played by Shivaji Satam) in the crime drama CID. There is a lot of chatter, especially with speculation that Parth’s character, ACP Ayushman, might only be around for a few weeks. To clear the air, mid-day caught up with the actor himself.
Samthaan, who rose to prominence with his show Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, was quick to respond when asked if his character had entered CID to stay. “It’s a mystery for me too,” he said. However, he clarified that he hasn`t been informed about any such track changes and firmly confirmed, “I am very much part of the show.” On the possibility of his role being scrapped, he added, “It also depends on how the audience will react.”
