After carving a niche for herself in the Gujarati film industry and making her presence felt in Bollywood with films like Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Kaushaljis vs Kaushal and Dhadak 2, Deeksha Joshi is now winning hearts on the small screen as Deepti in Sony SAB’s popular show Pushpa Impossible. Marking her television debut, Deeksha joined the show post the seven-year leap, adding a fresh dynamic to the narrative.
Sharing her experience of working on a television set, Deeksha reveals how different the medium is compared to films. From longer shooting hours to mastering technical precision while performing emotionally charged scenes, the actor says television has pushed her out of her comfort zone. Being surrounded by seasoned actors on the sets has also been a learning curve, helping her understand consistency, discipline, and the pace required to deliver impactful performances on a daily basis. These initial days, she says, have been both humbling and enriching, adding new layers to her craft.
