Television actress Erica Fernandes has opened up about her experience living through the recent escalation of conflict in the Middle East while based in Dubai, calling the situation frightening and praising the swift response by the UAE Government. The 32-year-old, known for her work in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, confirmed that she is safe but did not downplay how unsettling recent events have been.

In a recent interaction, Erica described the sounds of air defence activity in the city as deeply disturbing. “The sounds of interceptions are real, and they’re jarring,” she said, referring to the loud anti-missile interceptions echoing across the sky. “People around me, friends and family have been watching this unfold with their own eyes, and that’s a difficult thing to process. There’s no sugar coating it, it’s scary.”
