Aishwarya Sakhuja celebrates the 79th Independence Day with great pride. The actress opened up about her upbringing in an Army household as her father served the nation. She also shared a heartfelt message for the fans on this auspicious day. In an exclusive chat with mid-day, Aishwarya shared whether her Army upbringing influenced her daredevil side in Khatron Ke Khiladi too.
Coming from an Army background, did Aishwarya plan on serving the nation, she shared, "I don’t really remember if I ever wanted to become an Army officer, but as a child, I always wanted to remain in the environment of the Indian Armed Forces. I recall telling my mother that just like she married an Army officer, I wanted to do the same, because there’s so much pride in it. "
Fans have witnessed Aishwarya`s daredevil side with Khatron Ke Khiladi. The actress was asked whether it was the influence of her Army household, Aishwarya shared, "I think being part of an Army household for as long as I was, a certain level of discipline just becomes part of you from birth. And with that discipline, it’s mostly mind over matter. That’s what helped me in Khatron. Of course, I would be scared, my heart would be racing, but I knew that if I put my mind to it, I could do it. I had seen my father do it, and my mother too, when she was alive. It takes immense discipline to conquer your fears, and that influence definitely shaped me.
