Naagin 7 has finally returned to television screens, introducing a new Naagin and a fresh mythological conflict. In an exclusive chat with midday, lead actor Namik Paul opened up about his character Aryamann, the show’s new theme, and how dancing helped him grow as an artist.
Speaking about his role, Namik said his character represents “the more human side” of the story, at least in the beginning. “Till now, very small supernatural things have happened which Aryamann hasn’t noticed yet. He has not entered the full-blown Naaginverse,” he explained. Aryamann is a journalist who runs his own news channel and carries emotional baggage. “He has some pain in his life, and that has made him a bit bitter. He drinks a lot and can be very sarcastic and sharp when he’s not happy. But otherwise, he loves his family and he’s very good at his work.”
