According to the recent reports by News 18, Ronit Roy was in talks with the makers of Anupamaa to enter the show as Vanraj Shah post the recent leap. The show has been adding numerous new tracks to the show with Anu returning to dance with her new gang from Mumbai. She will soon have a face-off with her daughter Raahi in the competition. However, regarding the new update on Ronit entering the show, a source close to the show refuted the rumours. 

The source mentioned, `There haven`t been any developments regarding Vanraj on the show. These are just speculations and there isn`t anything true about it.` Ronit Roy has also shared with various media portals that he isn`t doing the show; the speculations regarding his entry in Anupamaa are completely false. 

Ronit on returning to TV 

While talking to ETimes, Ronit had reacted to returning to TV, "So, I`m not averse to doing a long show or being on television for a longer time. However, as I mentioned, there is still much to be desired on television. 25 years from when I began. And the world has changed. Some things need to be fixed regarding television. So, once that happens, I will likely be back. Till such time, I`m happy where I am."
