The iconic show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi returns with a ride of nostalgia, as the show begins with archival footage of temples and Ganeshji's idol that every show helmed by Ektaa Kapoor has, it not only brings back the memories but also makes the viewer time travel to the 2000s when the K series were a massive hit. The first few minutes of the episode take you back to the old days, when you would find yourself sitting with your family after dinner, waiting for the show to begin.
The show's second season premiered at 10.30 p.m. at its original time slot. This time, the title song of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi was broadcast not only on Star Plus but also on its sibling station JioHotstar, in keeping with the modern era. Between the theme song and the archival temple run, the camera focused on the sacred Tulsi plant being watered by Tulsi Virani herself, with a conch echoing in the background.
The protagonist, Tulsi Virani, was not introduced to the audience all at once, unlike the original Kyunki, which gained popularity 25 years ago. The viewers first saw her lips reciting the Gayatri Mantra, followed by her forehead adorned with a bindi and sindoor in her parting hair. The focus then shifted to the Tulsi plant, where Tulsi explained the various properties of the sacred emblem.
