The sudden demise of the 43-year-old artist has left the entertainment industry and his admirers across the country in deep shock and mourning.
Several people gathered at the airport to pay their respects as Tamang’s mortal remains arrived from Mumbai. Among those present was BJP MP Raju Bista, who expressed his grief and extended condolences to the bereaved family. He remembered Prashant Tamang as a proud son of the hills who brought recognition and pride to the Gorkha community, not just through his music but also through his humble personality and disciplined life.
