As India celebrates its 73rd Republic Day today, Priya Ahuja Rajda joins mid-day.com for a special conversation.
What are your thoughts and memories of Republic Day?&nbsp;
I remember as a kid we used to attend school for flag hoisting and I used to get very excited because on that day our school use to give us treat boxes. I was in a Central government school so I have grown up with lots of army kids and being with them you get a different feeling on such important days. I have fond memories of performing with other schoolmates at the Republic Day parade at India Gate.
Importance of the constitution&hellip; To set some limits for citizens and the government about their fundamental rights. This gives rise to the idea of a representative democracy.
