On the auspicious day of Raksha Bandhan, celebs celebrate their heartfelt bond with their siblings and make a promise to protect and love each other for the rest of their lives.
Aarya Babbar, who essays the role of Kalikant in Zee TV’s Jagriti- Ek Nayi Subah, said, "My sister has always been more than just a sibling, she’s like a second mother to me. As the elder one, she’s guided me, protected me, and loved me with a warmth that feels both comforting and unconditional. From our childhood days of watching movies together to laughing over our kitchen disasters, she’s been my constant and my safe space. Raksha Bandhan, for me, is a celebration of that bond, a day when I get to thank her for every hug, every scolding, every moment she’s stood by me. This year, we’re celebrating just the way we like it: at home, surrounded by family, sharing sweets, stories, and the festive joy that only grows stronger with time."
Aarya Babbar also opened up about his recent transformation. He said, "Portraying two completely different characters in the same show has been one of the most creatively fulfilling experiences of my career. Kalikant who is intense, layered with power and darkness; and now, stepping into the shoes of Shashikant, who is calm, positive, and rooted in values, has been like discovering a new dimension of myself as an actor."
